ST. MICHAEL PREPARATORY PRAYERS FOR DELIVERANCE (From the Book of Deliverance)
Holy Trinity,
One God, living and true,
Almighty and Omnipresent,
Total Love,
I adore You,
I bless You,
and I glorify You.
I believe in You, and
in Your saving and healing power.
Today, I recognize
how much I sinned
and hence, I am cut off from you.
My Lord, I renounce
from my heart and for always:
Satan, his works,
his lies, sin, impurity,
and the love for power and pleasure
that separate me from you,
my God and Lord.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER by Father Robert DeGrandis, S.S.J.
Heavenly Father, I love You, I praise You, and I worship You. I thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Who won victory over sin and death for my Salvation. I thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit Who empowers me, guides me, and leads me into fullness of life. I thank you for Mary, my Heavenly Mother, who intercedes with the Holy Angels and Saints for me.
Lord Jesus Christ, I place myself at the foot of Your Cross and ask You to cover me with Your Precious Blood which pours forth from Your Most Sacred Heart and Your Most Holy Wounds. Cleanse me, my Jesus, in the Living Water that flows from Your Heart. I ask You to surround me, Lord Jesus, with Your Holy Light.
Heavenly Father, let the healing waters of my Baptism now flow back through the maternal and paternal generations to purify my family line of Satan and Sin. I come before You, Father, and ask forgiveness for myself, my relatives, and my ancestors, for any calling upon powers that set themselves up in opposition to You or that do not offer true honor to Jesus Christ. In Jesus' Holy Name, I now reclaim any territory that was handed over to Satan and place it under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
By the power of Your Holy Spirit, reveal to me, Father, any people I need to forgive and any areas of unconfessed sin. Reveal aspects of my life that are not pleasing to You, Father, ways that have given or could give Satan a foothold in my life. Father, I give to You any unforgiveness; I give to You my sins; and, I give to You all ways that Satan has a hold of my life. Thank You, for Your Forgiveness and Your Love.
Lord Jesus, in Your Holy Name, I bind all Evil Spirits of the air, water, ground, underground, and Netherworld. I further bind, in Jesus' Name, any and all emissaries of the Satanic Headquarters and claim the Precious Blood of Jesus on the air, atmosphere, water, ground and their fruits around us, the underground and the Netherworld below.
Heavenly Father, allow Your Son Jesus to come now with the Holy Spirit, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Angels and the Saints to protect me from all harm and to keep all Evil Spirits from taking revenge on me in any way.
(Repeat the following sentence three times: once in honor of the Father, once in honor of the Son, and once in honor of the Holy Spirit.)
In the Holy Name of Jesus, I seal myself, my relatives, this room (place, home, church, car, plane, etc...), and all sources of supply in the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
(To break and dissolve all Satanic Seals, repeat the following paragraph three times in honor of the Holy Trinity because Satanic Seals are placed three times to blaspheme the Holy Trinity.)
In the Holy Name of Jesus, I break and dissolve any and all curses, hexes, spells, snares, traps, lies, obstacles, deceptions, diversions, spiritual influences, evil wishes, evil desires, hereditary seals, known and unknown, and every dysfunction and disease from any source including my mistakes and sins. In Jesus' Name, I sever the transmission of any and all Satanic vows, pacts, spiritual bonds, soul ties, and satanic works. In Jesus' Name, I break and dissolve any and all links and effects of links with: astrologers; bohmos; channelers; charters; clairvoyants; crystal healers; crystals; fortune tellers; mediums; the New Age Movement; occult seers; palm, tea leaf, or tarot card readers; psychics; santeros; satanic cults; spirit guides; witches; witchdoctors; and, Voodoo. In Jesus' Name, I dissolve all effects of participation in séances and divination, Ouija boards, horoscopes, occult games of all sorts, and any form of worship that does not offer true honor to Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, please reveal to me through word of knowledge any evil spirits that have attached themselves to me in any way. (Pause and wait for words to come to you, such as: anger, arrogance, bitterness, brutality, confusion, cruelty, deception, envy, fear, hatred, insecurity, jealousy, pride, resentment, or terror. Pray the following for each of the spirits revealed.)
In the Name of Jesus, I rebuke you spirit of _________________. I command you to go directly to Jesus, without manifestation and without harm to me or anyone, so that He can dispose of you according to His Holy Will.
I thank You, Heavenly Father for Your Love. I thank You, Holy Spirit for empowering me to be aggressive against Satan and Evil Spirits. I thank You, Jesus, for setting me free. I thank You, Mary, for interceding for me with the Holy Angels and the Saints.
Lord Jesus, fill me with Charity, Compassion, Faith, Gentleness, Hope, Humility, Joy, Kindness, Light, Love, Mercy, Modesty, Patience, Peace, Purity, Security, Tranquility, Trust, Truth, Understanding, and Wisdom. Help me to walk in Your Light and Truth, illuminated by the Holy Spirit so that together we may praise, honor, and glorify Our Father in time and in eternity. For You, Lord Jesus, are, "...the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6 NAB), and You "...have come that we might have life and have it more abundantly" (John 10:10 JB).
"God indeed is my Savior; I am confident and unafraid. My strength and courage is the Lord, and He has been my Savior" (Isaiah 12:2 JB).

CROSS OF THE HOLY FATHER BENEDICT…An Exorcism
PRAYER
Holy Cross be my light and never should satan be my chief! Get behind me satan!...are evil the drinks you pour me. Drink yourself your own poison. In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
The Medal of St. Benedict is a very effective way to ward off evil spirits and witchcraft. It can also be used for extraordinary favors by praying the Novena or Triduum, making each day the Way of the Cross, or reciting 5 Our Fathers and Hail Mary's in honor of the Five Wounds of Our Lord, and saying some prayers in honor of St. Benedict. In time of temptation, it is advisable to hold the Medal in one's hand, kiss it reverently and make use of the ejaculatory prayers on the Medal.
The front of the medal shows St. Benedict holding a cross in one hand and the book of his Rule in the other. Flanking him on each side are the words: Crux S. Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict).
Below his feet are these words: Ex S M Casino MDCCCLXXX (From the Holy Mount of Cassino, 1880). On that date , Monte Cassino was given the exclusive right to produce this medal.
Inscribed in the circle surrounding Benedict are the words: Ejus in obitu nostro presentia muniamur (May his presence protect us in the hour of death).
The other side of the medal is where the real exorcistic force reveals itself. In the center is the Cross. Benedict loved the Cross and used it to drive away demons.
The vertical beam of the Cross has five letters: C.S.S.M.L., meaning Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux (May the holy Cross be for me a light).
The horizontal beam of the Cross also has five letters: N.D.S.M.D., meaning Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux (Let not the dragon be my guide).
The four large letters at the angles of the Cross: C S P B stand for Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict).
Encircling the Cross in a circle around the right margin are these letters: V.R.S.N.S.M.V., meaning Vade retro Satana; nunquam suade mihi vana (Begone Satan! Suggest not to me thy vain things).
Around the left margin of the circle are these letters: S.M.Q.L.I.V.B., meaning Sunt mala quae libas; ipse venena bibas (The drink you offer is evil; drink that poison yourself).
At the top of the circle is the word PAX (Peace).
No special way of carrying or applying the Medal is prescribed. It may be worn around the neck, attached to the scapular or the Rosary or simply carried in one's pocket.
Often it is placed in the fields, the foundations of buildings or attached to automobiles to call down God's blessing and the protection of St. Benedict.
Two Special Uses of the Medal
By a rescript of the Sacred Congregation of Religious (4 May 1965) lay Oblates of St. Benedict are permitted to wear the Medal of St. Benedict instead of the small black cloth scapular formerly worn.
By a decree of the Sacred Congregation of Rites (6 March 1959), the Blessing of St. Maur over the sick is permitted to be given with a Medal of St. Benedict instead of with a relic of the True Cross, since the latter is difficult to obtain.
Approved Blessing of the Medal of St. Benedict
Medals of Saint Benedict are sacramentals that may be blessed legitimately by any priest or deacon -- not necessarily a Benedictine (Instr., 26 Sept. 1964; Can. 1168). The following English form may be used.
V. Our help is in the name of the Lord.
R. Who made heaven and earth.
In the name of God the Father + almighty, who made heaven and earth, the seas and all that is in them, I exorcise these medals against the power and attacks of the evil one. May all who use these medals devoutly be blessed with health of soul and body. In the name of the Father + almighty, of the Son + Jesus Christ our Lord, and of the Holy + Spirit the Paraclete, and in the love of the same Lord Jesus Christ who will come on the last day to judge the living and the dead, and the world by fire.
Amen.
Let us pray. Almighty God, the boundless source of all good things, we humbly ask that, through the intercession of Saint Benedict, you pour out your blessings + upon these medals. May those who use them devoutly and earnestly strive to perform good works be blessed by you with health of soul and body, the grace of a holy life, and remission of the temporal punishment due to sin.
May they also with the help of your merciful love, resist the temptation of the evil one and strive to exercise true charity and justice toward all, so that one day they may appear sinless and holy in your sight. This we ask though Christ our Lord.
Amen.
The medals are then sprinkled with holy water.

PRAYER BEFORE DELIVERANCE
Prayer before exorcising demons
Father, I come before you in JESUS' name, and I thank you for giving me all power and all authority over all demons. I cover myself in the blood of JESUS. I cover all my family members in the blood of JESUS. I thank you for your giant warring angels that are surrounding us, protecting us from all harm of the enemy. I take my authority and I attack from the third Heaven, and I bind the strongman over my mind, will, emotions, and over my home, in JESUS' name. I command you to leave this area now in JESUS' name. I bind up every demon that was sent to me, transferred to me, or followed me, and I command you to come out of my conscious, subconscious, unconscious mind, all parts of my body, will, emotions, and personality, in JESUS' name.
INVOCATION TO ST. MICHAEL...An Exorcism
Most glorious Prince of the Celestial army, Archangel St. Michael, defend us in the battle against the powers of darkness and their spiritual maliciousness. Come to our aid, who were created by God and redeemed with the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, and deliver us from the tyranny of the devil. You are venerated by the Church as its Patron and Guardian and to you, the Lord has entrusted the souls who one day will occupy the heavenly mansions. Pray, therefore, the God of Peace, to keep the devil crushed under our feet, so that he won't be able to enslave men unto himself and neither cause any harm to the Church.
Unite our prayers to Thine own and present them to Almighty God, so that His divine mercies may descend upon us. Chain Satan and thrust him into the bottomless pit, whence he won't be able to seduce souls anymore.
Exorcism
Psalm (To be recited standing and at the indication + should be made the sign of the cross).
May the Lord arise and His enemies be vanquished and may all those who hate Him, vanish from His presence. As the smoke vanishes and as wax melts in fire, likewise should sinners perish from before His face.
V.) Behold the Cross of the Lord, flee hostile powers.
R.) Has won the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the descendant of David.
V.) May Thy mercy O Lord, descend upon us.
R.) As we haved hoped in Thee.
We impose it upon you to flee, unclean spirit, satanic power, invasion of the infernal enemy, with all your legions, reunions and diabolic sects, in the name and with the authority of Our Lord Jesus + Christ. Be eradicated from the Church of God, driven from souls created in the image of God and redeemed by the precious blood of the Divine Lamb.
From now on do not dare, perfidious serpent, to beguile the human race, persecute the Church of God, to agitate and sift like wheat, God's elect.
Almighty God commands it to you, to Whom, in your great pride, presume to be similar. God the Father + the Son and Holy Spirit commands it to you.
Christ, the eternal Word of God made flesh + commands it to you, Who for the salvation of our progeny lost by your jealousy, "He let be humiliated and made Himself obedient unto death".
The powerful Mother of God, the Virgin Mary + commands it to you, Who from the first instant of her Immaculate Conception, because of her humility, has crushed your proud head.
The blood of the Martyrs and the powerful intercession of all the Saints commands it to you.
Therefore cursed dragon and every diabolical legion, we conjure you by the living + God, by the true + God, by the holy + God: cease too lay snares in the path of God's creatures and toast them the poison of eternal damnation: cease to harm the Church and to put obstacles to its freedom.
Go satan, author and master of deceits, enemy of man's salvation. Surrender the authority to Christ, surrender the authority to the Church which Christ acquired with His blood.
Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, tremble and flee at the invocation which we make of the Holy and terrible name of that Jesus, which makes hell quake, to Whom the Celestial Virtues, Powers and Dominations are subject, Whom the Cherubim and Serafim praise incessantly saying: "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord, the God of the universe".
V.) O Lord hear our prayers.
R.) And let our cry come unto Thee.
O God of Heaven, God of Earth, God of the Angels, God of the Archangels, God of the Patriarchs, God of the Prophets, God of the Apostles, God of the Martyrs, God of the Confessors, God of the Virgins, God Who has the power to bestow life after death and rest after fatigue, since there is no other God beside Thee and neither can it be, eternal Creator of all things visible and invisible, we humbly beseech Thee to free us from every tyranny, snare, deceit and infestation of the infernal enemy and preserve us always from all harm. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
